Why Are We Here
We are all so mortal, what purpose can we serve, if there's no ultimate purpose of eternal life? For billions of people, what's the point of coming into this world for 60-80 years and then disappear into nothingness? We spend almost 30 years to learn things and get educated, and only have the same number of years to use our skills and knowledge, and the last 10 years... waiting to leave this world. Doesn't seem right to me, if there's no life after death. God's ultimate purpose is to create living beings to enjoy the greatness of heaven. But in heaven, all souls must be God-obeying, willing to submit themselves to God... heaven is made perfect by a principle, only God knows. I personally believe that the principle is to make sure no single soul will rebel against God, as rebelling him is the cause of evil. So to make this possible, all souls must live through this earthly life first, before entering into heaven. Since the entire human race is shapping the happenings in our world, so everyone are infact living in fulfilling God's purpose. To be precise, God allows consequences of free-wills to serve his purpose. Before we can enter into heaven, our sins must be cleansed by Jesus's blood, we have to believe in Christ by faith, and that's the only requirement to receive our salvation. To believe or dis-believe lies in our heart, our conscience, which is also our destiny, our key to heaven. In my personal opinion, 'believe in Christ' might be the way to bar those souls (the non-believers) who are destined to rebel God in heaven. So, everything is about salvation, even the entire bible is about salvation, the past, the present and the future are about salvation. The entire human history will be wiped out, the ultimate is eternal heaven. We are here to fulfil God's will of creating a perfect heaven - that's why we are here, not by choice. It's a temporary life, so one day, we will die, neither by our choice. But we definitely have one choice, that's to accept Jesus as our savior. "Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven", this citation in The Lord's Prayer explains why we are here, our life purpose.
